When I was a small child, growing up in the crowded city of Calcutta (Kolkata), once in every few years a luxury used to come in my way- a visit to my maternal grandfather’s home in the foothills of the Himalayas. How excited I used to be, waiting for that wonderful journey! Sitting in the second-class compartment of the train, looking through the barred windows, to the unending paddy-fields meeting the sky at the far end…I was never tired. I used to wonder- is that the end of the world? How come the train never reaches there? What’s there beyond horizon?
That question still drives me, to places far and near. Here is an effort to share with you, the world as I see it through my Lens and impressions that it makes on mind, in my quest of life, beauty and more. Walk with me…
